A program initiated and organized by UNITER between 1994- 2008, coordinated by dr. Alexandra Zugrăvescu.
Starting with 2008, the program was turned into an institution, becoming the Cliniclown Foundation in Romania.
The program addresses sick children unable to leave their beds whose attention is distrated from the medical therapy reality by using acting and clown techniques, thus helping them to overcome easier the period of hospitalization and contributing to the development of their imagination.
At the same time, the program is destined to professionals in the field of medical assistance and accompanying parents.
The program refers to articles 24.1 and 32.2 from the Convention for Children’s Rights.
