The “Artists’ Home”

The “Artists’ Home” building is destined to elder artists dealing with different problems.

A treatment facility, as well as a meeting space, a place where they can chase their loneliness and sadness away. A well-equipped place which would allow them (especially the lonely ones) to forget about severalproblems.

This is an ambitious, but also singular project in the Romanian artistic landscape. Its importance is even greater due to the fact that it was initiated by a non-governmental organization.

In this respect, UNITER received, by Government Decision, in 1999, a 10,000 sq.m. piece of land on the shore of Floreasca lake, where the construction is to be built.
